Tanya Deans
President, Hanes Australasia
Tanya was appointed a Director in March 2021 and President of Hanes Australasia in January the same year. Prior to that Tanya was Group General Manager, Bras n Things, a role that she held for 18 months. Before that Tanya was General Manager, Brands for the Hanes Australasia Apparel Group and that was preceded by various brand, category and product leadership roles across HAA’s largest brands over the 29 years she has worked for the company. Tanya has been involved in many of the acquisition, divestment and transformation activities of the business and has a particular interest in brand reinvention.
Derek Kent
Chief Financial Officer
Derek was appointed to the position of Director in January 2020. Derek has been with Hanes Australasia (previously Pacific Brands) for over 10 years, most recently as the GM Commercial for Sheridan as well as having responsibility for Merchandise Planning. Prior to this, Derek was the Commercial Manager of IT & Operations, where following an earlier role in the group he gained significant experience in logistics, and prior to that he was the Commercial Manager of Bonds Retail during its early stages of development. Before joining Hanes Australasia, Derek held various financial reporting, planning and analysis roles in Europe and Asia.
Mark Barry
Group General Manager, Bonds
Mark joined Hanes Australasia in 1991 as a Sales Manager, progressing into numerous Senior Leadership and General Management roles across the Group. Mark currently holds the role of Group General Manager, Bonds Group. The Bonds Group includes our key brands Bonds, Berlei, Jockey, Explorer plus a number of key portfolio brands. Over the past 30 years, Mark has developed extensive experience working with market leading brands, fast moving consumables within a highly competitive retail and manufacturing industry. Mark is achievement and collaborative orientated, enjoys challenges, and has demonstrated the ability to influence, lead change and evolve with a consumer led focus.
Sandra Blackburn
Group General Manager, People & Culture
Sandra joined Hanes Australasia in July 2005. Sandra’s remit includes driving the strategic people agenda across Hanes Australasia. These include and are not limited to Culture, Leadership, Talent, Communications, Diversity and Inclusivity, People Operations. Prior to this role, Sandra has held numerous leadership roles spanning People Leadership, Talent Management, Learning and Development and Human Resources Management. Prior to joining the company, Sandra held senior HR roles both in Australia and Europe.
Tom Dalianis
Group General Manager, IT
Tom joined Hanes Australasia in 1990, since which time he has held senior roles across Information Technology, Shared Services and Logistics. Throughout his tenure, Tom has led numerous business integrations covering acquisitions, company-wide platform consolidations, customer interfaces and major supply chain transformations. More recently his focus has been on our digital transformation program enabling omni-channel and supply chain excellence.
David Ellis
Chief Supply Chain Officer
David joined Hanes Australasia in 1995 as Manufacturing Manager of Jockey. Since then David has held various roles within the Company before being appointed Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2017 and then CSCO across HAA / HEI in late 2019. David oversees Customer Service, Demand and Supply Chain management, Sourcing, logistics and Continuous Improvement. David has a real passion for Lean and has been the driving force in implementing a Lean culture across the Group.
Kate Hann
Group General Manager, Bras N Things
Kate has held a number of General Manager positions since joining Hanes Australasia in 2003 through anacquisition. Kate has used her vast experience in developing brands, categories and identifying opportunities in both domestic and international markets. In holding various General Manager positions in Bonds, Retail and the Underwear and Hosiery Group she has lead and reshaped businesses to deliver future growth.
Most recently in February 2021, Kate was appointed to the role of Group General Manager, Bras N Things. Kate is passionate about developing and mentoring teams, and championing accessibility and disability across the Hanes Australasia businesses.
Andrew Seargeant
Group General Manager, Sheridan
Andrew was appointed to the role of Group General Manager, Sheridan in January 2023. Prior to that Andrew held various senior roles including General Manager, Strategy & Business Development and Divisional Manager – Men’s Underwear. Andrew also spent 2 years as a member of the Hanes Europe Innerwear executive leadership team, leading Business Development including the creation of a significant transformation program. Prior to joining, Andrew was a Director in management consulting at Monitor Deloitte, following 11 years in various roles at Fosters Group and Treasury Wine Estates including Global Director of Corporate Strategy and Country Manager Japan.
Elizabeth Levinson
Deputy General Counsel
Elizabeth was appointed to Deputy General Counsel for Hanes Australia in January 2021. Elizabeth joined the business in 2011 as Legal Counsel. She started her career at Herbert Smith Freehills where she worked for 10 years prior to moving in house to Telstra Corporation Limited. Elizabeth has provided legal support for the various acquisitions, divestments and transformation activities of the business. Elizabeth also holds the role as Company Secretary and Privacy Officer in Australia.
Emily Small
Group General Manager, Online
Emily joined Hanes Australasia in 2012 as a Marketing Manager. Since then Emily has held various senior roles across Category, Insights, Product and Marketing functions, ensuring our largest brands kept pace with consumer culture. In 2022 Emily was appointed to the role of Group General Manager, Online leading the customer Omni experience and transactional functions across the Hanes Australasia network.
